Ford industrial and construction equipment

Ford construction equipment began with the Ford tractor division in the 1940s. Ford eventually expanded into a dedicated line of construction equipment including backhoe loaders and skid steer loaders. In 1991, Ford sold the Ford/New Holland division to FIAT and the Ford name was phased out.
